Meet the pastors

Gareth and Lydia are excited to be launching Freedom Church Carmarthenshire! They both have strong connections to the area with Lydia having been raised in Kidwelly, and Gareth, originally from Newport, with family roots in Rhandirmwyn.

They both enjoy being active, playing games, and having fun with family and friends. Gareth loves all things sport and Lydia enjoys being creative and keeping fit.

They lived in Cardiff for many years before relocating to Carmarthenshire in 2021.  Along with their three children and a dream, they moved to see a fresh and vibrant expression of church ignited in the area.

Having been involved in various forms of ministry over the years, they wholeheartedly believe it is through a life-changing relationship with Jesus that our lives find fulfilment, meaning, and purpose and they are passionate about people experiencing this connection for themselves.
